Quality Assurance

If you haven’t realized, whether freelancer or just new to the business, Quality Assurance testing plays a vital role in your Web Design or Applications company.

If you don’t have the resources to set up a complete team, you can start with just one person.

Few things to consider though:

  1. Let the QA analyst in on the project from the beginning. Do not bring them only at the end.
  2. S/he has to fully understand the scope of the project but s/he doesn’t have to be a hardcore programmer.
  3. Also when you estimate a project, leave some ample time for the QA testing also. Also make sure your internal deadlines are made before hand as to have effective QA testing.
  4. Nothing moves ahead unless QA person gives the final go ahead for the team to submit project to client. This makes the team more responsible to the QA person and to the quality of the project.
