    something to think about!

My car will not start. (the problem)

Why? – The battery is dead. (first why)

Why? – The alternator is not functioning. (second why)

Why? – The alternator belt has broken. (third why)

Why? – The alternator belt was well beyond its useful service life and has never been replaced. (fourth why)

Why? – I have not been maintaining my car according to the recommended service schedule. (fifth why, a root cause)

Another innovative way to figure out the roots of problems. The 5 Whys is a question-asking method used to explore the cause/effect relationships underlying a particular problem. Ultimately, the goal of applying the 5 Whys method is to determine a root cause of a defect or problem. Toyota Company used this during the evolution of their manufacturing methodologies. Link to the full Wikipedia article here.
Maybe use this in analyzing and finding the root of problems, even in our daily lives, much like how paraphrasing works to keep everyone understand each other.

We have been working in wordpress for 3 years now and are happy to see some of the respect Wordpress Content Management system is gaining worldwide. Pretty soon, Wordpress can do most of the content management tasks you wish for while building social communities for your business or organization or what nots. We are confident on this.

    WordPress update to 2.8.4 Version

WordPress realeased it’s updated version 2.8.4 in August 14, 2009. It is a security update so everyone please update the wordpress soon.

WordPress.org Release Statement ” Yesterday a vulnerability was discovered: a specially crafted URL could be requested that would allow an attacker to bypass a security check to verify a user requested a password reset. As a result, the first account without a key in the database (usually the admin account) would have its password reset and a new password would be emailed to the account owner. This doesn’t allow remote access, but it is very annoying.

We fixed this problem last night and have been testing the fixes and looking for other problems since then. Version 2.8.4 which fixes all known problems is now available for download and is highly recommended for all users of WordPress.”

    Regards,
    sakin

    customer service: an example.

a heightened sense of a customer centric individual.
    taken from this site

“This is why Richard Branson is so successful
Backstage in Moscow. Richard Branson is speaking before me. He asks me if I ever fly Virgin; I admit that I never have. He asks me to try it. I say to him: “If Richard Branson asks me, I guess I have to.” He then gets on his knees and starts polishing my shoes with his jacket in order to convince me. Can it get any better than this?”

    enjoy folks. Ujw
