About Us

Founded in 2003, Digital Max Solutions is based in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal with its marketing representative in USA. Our goal is to be a leading multimedia outsourcing and publishing facility in South Asia. We have achieved tremendous success and growth in very short period of time with happy and satisfied clients globally including USA, Canada, Europe, Singapore, China, India, and Nepal.

We have delved in the Web and Software development segment with the aim to provide all IT services, seamlessly integrating them with our expertise in design.

Ujwal Thapa (Director)

Ujwal Thapa is the founder and Director of Digital Max Solutions. Under his leadership, the company is moving ahead, producing works for national and international firms in USA, Canada, Europe, Singapore, China, India, and Nepal.

He holds Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies from Bennington College, US. He has over 10 years of experience in business management and entrepreneurship in the IT sector.

He is also associated with the following positions at the following companies: founder of Digital Max Solutions, Senior Multimedia specialist for Vianet Communications, Senior Consultant for A J WILD Institute of Advanced Studies, a pioneering total educational solutions institution, senior consultant for NEOtech, an IT solutions company in Nepal.

Chief of Operations (COO)

Chandra Maharzan is multi talented senior multimedia specialist. He is responsible for overall business development. He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering and has more than 7 years of working experience in the IT sector. Chandra is passionate about 3D animation and music composition.

Kris Thapa (Finance Manager)

Kris Thapa, a senior executive is versatile Finance Manager, has Masters in Business Studies, with specialization in Account and Finance and has over 8 years of complementary experience in day-to-day financial and operational management. He has previously worked in various trading businesses, stars hotel and a multinational company in Nepal. He is also a print media specialist who has ample experiences in the Print media services sector. Mr. Thapa is a Founder President of Association of Management Students (AMS).

Sakin Shrestha (Human Resource Manager)

Sakin Shrestha leads and manages the overall Human Resources of DMS. He is a young and dynamic professional with more then 5 years of working experience in national and international organizations such as United Nations. Currently he is also associated with Wigan and Leigh College as Business Management Faculty Member. Beside management, he has a great passion for technologies and new gadgets.

Sakin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Wales, Executive Diploma in Business Administration (EDBA) from Management Development Institute of Singapore, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies (BBS) from Tribhuvan University.

Subash Manandhar (Project Manager)

Subash Manandhar is a Multimedia Specialist. He joined Digital Max Solutions in 2004 and has been working as a Project Manager and Client Communication Specialist for the last 3 years.

Subash holds a Bachelors degree in 3D Animation and Maths from Bennington College, US. He has over 6 years of Professional work experience both in the US and in Nepal.

Suraj Thapaliya (Technical Project Manager)

Suraj is an expert in web technology, web programming and web designing, mainly focused on web based application, ecommerce websites, CMS and database application. He leads and manages technical issues and solutions. He has over 7 years experience in the programming field.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Applications and Diploma in Computer Application. He has plenty of experiences working on large scale government and corporate level projects. He has developed more then 100 dynamic website. He is also active member of Human Rights Foundation Nepal and Amnesty International Nepal.

Uttam K.C (Administration Manager)

Uttam K.C. is hardworking, outgoing, multi talented and experienced professional. He leads and manages the overall administration of DMS. He has been working in DMS from last 3 years and has over 9 years of working experience in national and international organizations such as Mother and Infant Research Activities (MIRA).

Take our test drive

During our 5 years of operations, DMS has realized and understood that many of you have a lot of doubts when you are deciding to select a services provider for the first time to work with you without meeting face to face.

You will generally have concern like:

• Whether we are reliable vendor or not?
• Whether we understand your needs or not?
• Whether we have the capabilities to work on your project or not?
• Whether we are can communicate effectively or not, especially when we are in different time zone and different continents?
• Whether we will be able to deliver your project on time and on budget or not?

To alleviate these concerns, DMS has launched a service called “Test Drive” to serve our clients better starting from June 2008.

This Test Drive will allow you to work with our team without making any upfront payments, while you evaluate us for certain period of time. This service will be free if you are not completely satisfied with our work and if you choose not to move forward with our services.

i.e. for the first 40 hours of work we do for you, we will bill it only if you want to continue using us as your service provider.

Our scheme covers 40 hours of test-drive for confirmed projects with at least US$ 5,000 in value.
